Sleep Noise is a simple app that plays a looping ambient water sound to help with sleep. This page explains what the app does and does not do with your information.
Sleep Noise does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The app does not require an account, does not use analytics or tracking services, and does not display ads.
The app saves one setting — your chosen volume level (Low, Medium, or High) — directly on your device using standard app storage. This value never leaves your device and is not accessible to anyone but you.
On iOS, the app uses background audio playback so the sound can keep playing while your screen is off. It requires no other permissions and does not use the network.
On Android, the app requests the following device permissions, used only for the stated purpose:
The iOS version of Sleep Noise contains no links to outside websites or services. The Android version contains an optional link to the developer's Ko-fi donation page. If you choose to tap it, you will leave the app and be subject to Ko-fi's own privacy policy. Sleep Noise does not share any information with Ko-fi or any other third party.
Sleep Noise does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13, because it does not collect information from anyone at all.
If this policy ever changes, the update will be posted on this page with a revised date above.
